Biography

TRAINING: I train in the mornings and in the evenings. And my training sessions are very varied. Kickboxing, wrestling, BJJ, and some other creative cardio training that fit my high-paced fighting style.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training back in 2000 just for fun and trained like three times a week till 2006/07. Then I started training full-time.

What ranks and titles have you held?
3x and reigning Shooto 183lb champion. Glory World Series 2010/11 welterweight champion

Do you have any heroes? Not really, but I find something to admire in every person.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? Bring change! Make a better future for my people by bringing unity among them. Inspire young kids to look for a goal in their lives and fight for something they love.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes, I studied international business and languages and have a bachelor’s degree.

What was your job before you started fighting? Helping my father with his company, and I still do help him when he needs me.
