Biography

Training: I'm just trying to get in the best shape I can in one week.

When and why did you start training for fighting? 2005. To test my abilities as an athlete

What titles have you held? RITC lightweight and bantamweight Champion

What does it mean for you to fight in the WEC? Fighting in the WEC will test my abilities with the best fighters in the world.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes. Pharmacy

What was your job before you started fighting? Pharmacy tech

Favorite grappling technique: Heel hook

Favorite Striking technique: High kick

Most memorable professional fight (who, where, why)?  My most memorable fight was against John Polakowski in the Ultimate Fighter House because I had to fight with a broken hand.

What was your most challenging professional fight (against who, when, what was the outcome)?  My most challenging professional fight was my first fight on The Ultimate Fighter.  It was against Rolando Delgado, and it was my most challenging fight because of his height, 6'3", and there was a lot of pressure for me to win the fight and get into the house.

Who were your training partners for this fight? I flew in a couple training partners from AZ for this fight.

Did you put more emphasis towards a fighting style or adjust your training to prepare for your opponent (what did you do differently/why)?  Didn't really have a chance to train for this opponent specifically. So I just hit the gym hard.

What, other than WINNING, are you using for motivation for the fight? This would prove that I belong in the WEC competing with the best in the world.

What is your favorite thing about this sport? I really love the challenge and pushing myself to new limits on a daily basis.

How long do you see yourself staying in this sport? For the rest of my life
