First-ever triple-language PPV at UFC 111

Las Vegas, NV (USA) – The Ultimate Fighting Championship® today announced that the UFC Pay-Per-View event UFC 111: ST-PIERRE vs HARDY will be presented live in three languages, English, French and Spanish, marking the first time the UFC has ever produced a triple-language broadcast.

Las Vegas, NV (USA) – The Ultimate Fighting Championship® today announced that the UFC Pay-Per-View event UFC 111: ST-PIERRE vs HARDY will be presented live in three languages, English, French and Spanish, marking the first time the UFC has ever produced a triple-language broadcast.

On Saturday, March 27, live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, UFC 111: ST-PIERRE vs. HARDY will be offered via Pay-Per-View to fight fans in three languages, complete with pre-produced segments, graphics and play-by-play and on camera commentary.

On the Spanish-language side, announcers Troy Santiago and Victor Dávila, along with host Rafael Sigler will host UFC 111 from start to finish, exclusively en Espanol. En Francais, Jean-Paul Chartrand, play-by-play commentator, and UFC fighter Patrick Cote, color commentator, will guide French-speaking fans from the UFC 111 show open to the conclusion of the championship main event. On the English-side, Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg will sit Octagon-side and provide play-by-play and color commentary throughout the night.

DirecTV, iNDemand, DISH Network, and Avail-TVN Pay-Per-View carriers in the United States will deliver the Spanish-language Pay-Per-View broadcast for UFC 111 for a suggested retail price of $44.99. Indigo and Shaw Cable deliver the French-language Pay-Per-View broadcast. It has also been confirmed that Shaw Cable, Indigo and BellTV will carry UFC 113 in French as well for Canadian viewers for a suggested retail price of $49.99. How to watch

In English, UFC 111 will be available live on Pay-Per-View on iN DEMAND, DIRECTV, DISH Network, TVN, BellTV, Sasktel, Shaw Communications and Viewer’s Choice Canada for a suggested retail price of $44.99 ($49.99/Canada) for standard definition or high-definition broadcasts (where available).

UFC 111: ST-PIERRE vs. HARDY features one of the best fighters in the game today, UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, as he looks to extend his reign and his six-fight winning streak against British bomber Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy. In the co-main event, former heavyweight champion Frank Mir looks to become only the second man in UFC history to win the championship three times when he takes on number one contender Shane Carwin for the interim UFC heavyweight title.
