Two Bouts get January Dates

The UFC's January events continue to get stacked with top-notch matchups, and Saturday, the promotion announced the addition of bouts that will thrill fight fans in Las Vegas and Boston.

At UFC 195 on January 2, unbeaten rising star Brian Ortega will look to carry the momentum from his stirring Fight of the Night win over Thiago Tavares in June into the MGM Grand Garden Arena when he battles surging former Ultimate Fighter winner Diego Brandao - who has scored two consecutive knockouts - in a featherweight matchup.

A little over two weeks later on January 17, TD Garden in Boston will be the site for a lightweight battle between number nine-ranked Beneil Dariush, and Russia's Mairbek Taisumov. Dariush is currently riding a five-fight winning streak that includes victories over Jim Miller and Michael Johnson, while Taisumov has won three straight, all by knockout.
