Stout, Campbell Rep Canada on August 23

Two of Canada's most exciting strikers will be in action in Saskatoon on August 23, as lightweight veteran Sam "Hands of Stone" Stout and fellow 155-pound standout Shane "Shaolin" Campbell compete in separate bouts on the UFC Fight Night card at the SaskTel Centre.

A veteran of over nine years in the Octagon, but still just 31 years old, Ontario's Stout has compiled seven post-fight bonuses in his time in the UFC, and after a recent rough patch, he's eager to get back in the win column and add another thrilling performance to his ledger when he meets New Jersey's Frankie Perez, a jiu-jitsu ace with a 9-2 pro MMA record.

Seeking his first UFC win on August 23, British Columbia's Campbell is a decorated kickboxer with 11 pro MMA wins, including three in his last four bouts. Opposing "Shaolin" in Saskatoon will be Brazil's Elias Silverio, who owns three UFC victories over Joao Zeferino, Isaac Vallie-Flagg and Ernest Chavez.
