Soto Returns in June against Birchak

In his first bout since debuting in a UFC title fight last August, bantamweight contender Joe Soto will face off with Anthony Birchak in UFC Fight Night action at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on June 6.

Soto, originally scheduled to face Birchak at UFC 177 last August, instead got a shot at TJ Dillashaw's bantamweight crown that night when Renan Barao was pulled from the bout. Despite losing the fight, Soto's heart garnered him plenty of fans, and in June, he will finally meet Birchak, who is looking to bounce back from a December loss to Ian Entwistle.

Tickets for UFC Fight Night, which is headlined by the light heavyweight matchup between Daniel Cormier and Ryan Bader, go on sale on Friday, April 10. The card will air live on FOX Sports 1.
