Top bantamweight contenders will square off in Portland, Oregon on Oct. 1, as hard-hitting John Lineker faces "The Magician" John Dodson in a five-round main event at Moda Center.
The UFC Fight Night card will air on FOX Sports 1. Tickets go on sale on Friday, Aug. 26.
New Mexico's Dodson, a former Ultimate Fighter winner, is a two-time world title challenger at 125 pounds who returned to bantamweight in April with a blistering 37-second knockout of Manny Gamburyan. Now ranked ninth at 135 pounds, Dodson will face another ex-flyweight standout in Brazil's Lineker, who has won three straight in his bantamweight run. Fresh off a Performance of the Night knockout of Michael McDonald, the No. 5-ranked "Hands of Stone" could make another statement with a victory in October.
