The wait is over for the return of Khabib Nurmagomedov, as the unbeaten lightweight contender takes on fellow 155-pound standout Tony Ferguson in a featured bout on the TUF 22 Finale card in Las Vegas on Friday, December 11.
Owner of an imposing 22-0 pro MMA record, Nurmagomedov's toughest opponent thus far has been his own body, as injuries have kept him on the sidelines since his April 2014 win over current champion Rafael Dos Anjos. But this December, the number three-ranked contender will fight once more against the number nine-ranked Ferguson, a former Ultimate Fighter winner who has won six straight, most recently defeating Josh Thomson in a Performance of the Night effort in July.
