Biography
TRAINING: For this training camp we train first thing in the morning, doing cardio i.e sprints or circuits, then again at night working on sub grappling, boxing or wrestling
When and why did you start training for fighting? After seeing Bruce Lee as a kid in the Big Boss, I was blown away.
What ranks and titles have you held? UK Submission Grappling Champion
Do you have any heroes? Bruce Lee as always been my idol
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s a dream come true. My dream of becoming a UFC fighter has inspired me for years to train hard and stay focused, and now that I have achieved that goal to become a UFC fighter, my focus is now to get to the top in my weight division. That’s my new goal and my new inspiration!
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No
What was your job before you started fighting? I have always been into fighting and was lucky enough to work at my team gym since leaving school. This helped with my commitment to train and helped to pay my bills all at the same time.
Specific accomplishments in pro competition? Currently hold the record for most submissions in one fight at the TUF tryouts
Favorite grappling technique: I like arm bars – they’re quick and effective when applied correctly
Favorite Striking technique: Head kick
