Biography
TRAINING: 10:30AM-1:00PM Luta Livre or Muay Thai / MMA. 4:00pm strength & conditioning or sprints. 8:00pm-9:30pm wrestling or Muay Thai/Boxing sparring.
When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training six years ago after a good friend introduced me to a submission wrestling club. I'd boxed as a teen and have always been a big fan of mixed martial arts, so after watching some of the earlier UFC videos and after getting the living daylights beat out of me in my first grappling session I was hooked.
What ranks and titles have you held? None.
Do you have any heroes? My mother. Also I’m a massive fan of Mike Tyson.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It's something I’ve dreamt about every day since I started training and the reason I’ve trained so hard. It also means I’ve got to push myself even more and continue to work hard and improve my skill set.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No
What was your job before you started fighting? Car dealer
Ranks in any martial arts styles: Purple belt in Luta Livre.
Favorite grappling technique: chokes of any kind.
Favorite Striking technique: anything which lands clean!
