When and why did you start training for fighting? Growing up in the projects of Philadelphia I learned to fight at an early age. Fighting was not a choice it was a survival tool.

What ranks and titles have you held? Black Belt in Ruas Vale Tudo.

Do you have any heroes? Mr. Dunkin Donuts

What is your favorite technique? High kick to the head.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It is a childhood dream come true.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Some college.

What was your job before you started fighting? I served in the United States Navy.
